Magnetic switches in a 96% layout at €113 is a different kind of proposition. Most hall effect boards that hit these specs — 8000Hz polling, Rapid Trigger, per-key actuation adjustment down to 0.01mm — sit comfortably above €180. The G-Lab, a French gaming peripherals outfit that has been building EU-market gear since 2016, launched the KEYZ Elite 400 HE as a direct answer to that gap. The technology is the same. The price isn't.

Underneath the blue/white ANSI layout sits a 5-layer gasket mount — not a cost-cut tray mount, not a basic top-mount, but a proper multi-layer gasket that damps vibration and softens the landing on each keystroke. The hall effect linear switches are factory-lubed and hot-swappable; a switch and keycap puller ships in the box alongside a spare set of switches, which tells you The G-Lab expects you to use them. Double-shot PBT keycaps mean the legends stay readable for years. The rotary dial in the top-right corner handles volume by default and is remappable via software. All of it — RGB profiles, actuation points, macros, Rapid Trigger sensitivity — is configurable through the web-based driver.

The one honest limitation: The G-Lab doesn't publish which switch manufacturer supplies the hall effect magnetics. For most players that won't matter — the feel at this price point has no business being as good as it is — but if switch provenance is important to you, the Corsair Vanguard Pro 96 names its MGX Hyperdrive switches explicitly. For everyone else: the KEYZ Elite 400 HE is where 96% magnetic keyboards stop being expensive.
