Corsair Vanguard PRO 96 Wired Hall Effect

The Vanguard PRO 96 is Corsair's answer to what a competitive keyboard looks like when you stop cutting corners. Hall Effect magnetic switches replace the traditional mechanical contact system entirely — there are no physical contact points to wear out, no debounce delay to wait through. The MGX Hyperdrive switches register keypresses on magnetic field changes, which means actuation is consistent from the first keypress to the hundred millionth. Rapid Trigger lets you set custom reset points as low as 0.1mm, so counter-strafing in CS2 or tap-strafing in fast-paced titles becomes a matter of technique, not timing windows built into the hardware.

The 96% layout keeps a full numpad and all function keys in a footprint that's closer to a TKL than a full-size board. Six programmable G-keys sit along the left edge for macros, ability rotations, or anything else you want on a dedicated key without remapping your main cluster. The built-in 1.9-inch LCD screen displays system stats, custom animations, or rotary dial readouts — and the Elgato Virtual Stream Deck integration turns those G-keys into a proper shortcut panel without needing a physical Stream Deck on your desk.

This is a wired-only keyboard. For a competition-oriented Hall Effect board at this level, that's the right call — no wireless latency variables, no battery management, no dongle to lose.
