Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 August 2026

AimDepot ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected when you visit aimdepot.shop, how it is used, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who is responsible for your data

AimDepot is operated by Morten Hansen, a private individual based in Finland. For any privacy-related question or request, contact:

aimdepot@proton.me

What data we collect

AimDepot does not run a checkout, does not process payments, and does not store customer accounts or order history. Data collected is limited to:

  • Site analytics: Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console collect anonymized usage data — pages viewed, approximate location (country/city level), device type, and referral source — to help us understand how the site is used.
  • Affiliate tracking cookies: When you click a product link to a retailer (Amazon, Logitech, Razer, SteelSeries, or another partner), that retailer or their affiliate network (Amazon Associates, Impact, CJ Affiliate, or similar) may place a tracking cookie to record that the visit came from AimDepot. This is how we may earn a commission if you make a purchase — at no extra cost to you.
  • Contact requests: If you email us directly, we retain that correspondence only for as long as needed to respond and resolve your query.

What we do not collect

We do not collect payment details, shipping addresses, or account passwords — purchases happen entirely on the retailer's site, not on AimDepot.

Cookies

This site uses cookies for analytics and affiliate tracking as described above. Where required by EU law, you will be asked for consent before non-essential cookies are set. You can withdraw consent or clear cookies at any time through your browser settings.

Third parties

Data may be processed by: Google (Analytics, Search Console), Amazon Associates EU, Impact, CJ Affiliate, and individual brand affiliate programs (e.g. Logitech, Razer, SteelSeries). Each operates under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review if you have concerns about their specific data practices.

International data transfers

Some third-party services listed above (e.g. Google) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, it is done under those providers' standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Your rights under GDPR

If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

  • Request access to any personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of that data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority — in Finland, the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at aimdepot@proton.me.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
